Spark - Tablet running MeeGo

MeeGo project enthusiasts will certainly be interesting to know thatsoon will release a new tablet that is running a version of the platform.New product will be called Spark Linux Tablet. The operating system used in the new product, called Mer. This operating system is a modification to the MeeGo Linux programming environment KDE Plasma Active.




Specifications of the new device promises to be pretty decent, though not outstanding. Thus, the heart of the gadget will be the processor AMLogic ARM Cortex-A9, clock frequency is 1 GHz. The amount of RAM the new tablet will be 512 MB. For video processing meets the graphical solution Mali 400. Interaction with content by means of a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with 800 x 480 pixel resolution and support for multitouch.
