DIY-monitor for the paranoid

For some reason, some people very uncomfortable idea that theircomputer can use someone else. Or, rather, that someone other thanthemselves, could see the content that appears on the screen of theirPCs. Of course, the desire for confidentiality, in principle, the normalthing, and it is not surprising that some of the development, such aslaptops with transparent screens are somewhat negative assessment of individuals.

On the other hand, if these people like the idea of displays, which will only be able to use a person with special glasses?

The technology, referred to, is a DIY-project by Instructables, known under the nickname dimovi. In general, the production process does not seem so difficult: the author of this development down an olderflat-panel monitor and removed him from the polarizing film. From the same film he cut a couple of small fragments, which are glued to theglasses. The result is a monitor suitable for use only in a pair ofglasses.

In turn, the naked eye can not see anything but white screen. See thenew product in action can be proposed on the video.
