Smartphone LG Optimus Vu went on sale in Korean market

LG's answer to the new device Galaxy Note from Samsung - Smartphone LG Optimus Vu - is already sold in South Korea, local operators SK Telecom and LG U +. The new device Optimus Vu, which is essentially a hybrid smartphone and tablet, has a large 5-inch touch screen with IPS-4:3 aspect ratio and 1024 × 768 pixels and comes with a stylus, and its classic and elegant appearance reminiscent of LG Prada 3.0. Among other characteristics should be noted Qualcomm processor with dual-core 1.5 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 8 GB of internal memory and a digital camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.

The combination of operating system, Android 2.3 Gingerbread and proprietary interface LG is not new, but in the process of "testing» Optimus Vu at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) it was possible to conclude that the smartphone's software is somewhat less interesting than that of competing devices from Samsung.
LG is hoping to attract interest in its new product by offering a free extra battery cover and first 20 thousand buyers of the device through the Optimus Vu operators SK Telecom and LG U +.
There is no information about that when (or even if you do ...) Optimus Vu will go beyond the Korean market, but the Koreans can now buy a device for the 999.900 won (~ $ 890). It seems that it is not subsidized price (ie, conditions of purchase price without a contract with an operator).
Those who want to learn more about the smartphone Optimus Vu, it may be advisable to get acquainted with the practical report on the device, made at the MWC.
